MESA Policies

Zoom

Attendees will need a strong internet connection, a working web camera and microphone (you can use a desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone). Attendees must be seated and facing forward toward the camera with their full face viewable (please no walking your dog or Zooming from your car). Attendees who do not have their technology working to the satisfaction of the instructor by 5 minutes after the class start time will be removed from the course.  Attendees must be present in the class for 50 minutes out of each hour. Failure to meet this time requirement may result in an attendee not earning continuing education credit for the course. No more than two participants per camera please without prior permission. MESA Real Estate Institute, LLC, reserves the right to record all courses.

MESA Real Estate Institute reserves the right to dismiss attendees who refuse to comply with these basic guidelines. MESA Real Estate Institute reserves the right to dismiss anyone who fails to print or download the course materials prior to class. Students are not allowed to record Zoom meetings without prior permission.

Late Arrival

If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, you will not be able to join the class. For in-person classes, exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis for those who have traveled from outside the area.

Cancellation

Tickets may be refunded if attendance is canceled in advance of the class starting time. You may transfer classes up to three times. Please note that you will be charged the difference in cost if the class you are transferring to is more expensive than the class you originally registered for. You will be refunded if the class transferred into is a lesser value class. Makeups/reschedules are not available for those brokers who fail to contact us to cancel in advance.

Guest

Want to bring a guest with you? That’s fine, but they will be expected to purchase a ticket. This applies to unlicensed admins, team members, spouses and children, etc.
